Solution:

Cotton fibres represent epidermal prolongation of seed-coat cells. The cotton fibres contain 94% cellulose, 1.3% protein and small amount of pectic substance. Cotton is major cash crop which gives fibre, food and feed. Ergot like drugs, fuel etc., are provide by root bark. The leaves are used as fodder. The stem fibres are used for stuffing, paper, bagging etc. The oil is obtained from the seed of cotton.
