Solution:

Benzene: $C_{6}H_{6}$ Solution

As in Benzene, Each carbon is $sp^{2}$ Hybridized

Total number of carbon $=6\left(\right.sp^{2}$ Hybridized)

In one $sp^{2}$ hybrid. number of orbitals = 3

Hence total Hybrid orbitals $=6\times 3=18$
