Q. The number of possible optical isomers for the complexes $MA_2B_2$ with $sp^3$ and $dsp^2$ hybridized metal atom, respectively, is :
Note: A and B are unidentate neutral and unidentate monoanionic ligands, respectively.

Solution:

As in $MA _{2} B _{2}$ tetrahedral structure which is sp ${ }^{3}$ hybridised, the central metal is not chiral hence it does not show optical isomers.
In the case of square planar that is $dsp ^{2}$ hybridised, two geometrical isomers will form but not optical isomers.
Hence, option is $0 \& 0$.
