Q. The number of moles of $H_2$ in $0.224$ litre of hydrogen gas at STP ($273 \,K, 1$ atm) is :

Hydrogen

Solution:

$\because 22.4 \,L$ of $H_2$ at STP = 1 mole of $H_2$
$\therefore 0.224 \,L$ of $H_2$ at STP = $\frac{1}{22.4} \times 0.224$
$ = 0.01 \, moles .$
