Solution:

Angiosperms undergo double fertilization in which one male gamete fuses with the egg, whereas the second male gamete fuses with the secondary nucleus. Thus, for the formation of one seed, two male gametes are required. One egg is produced by one meiotic division. Four pollen grains are produced by one meiotic division. Thus, for 100 seeds, 100+25 = 125 meiosis are required with 200 male gametes [x+(x/4), 100+(100/4)=100+25=125].
