Zoospores in both.algae and fungi, are a means of asexual reproduction, directly (without fertilization) giving rise to new individuals. Encystment is. a method of surviving through unfavourable conditions while zygospore is formed after fertilization. Conidia are non-motile exogenous spores in fungi which develop through abstriction at the tips or sides of special hyphae called conidiophores.
