Q. The most stable alkene is:

Bihar CECEBihar CECE 2004

Solution:

Alkylated alkenes are more stable. More the alkylation of alkene, more will be its stability.
$\therefore $ Order of stability of alkenes is
$R_{2} C = CR _{2}> R _{2} C = CHR > R _{2} C = CH _{2}$
$> RCH = CH _{2}> CH _{2}= CH _{2}$
$\therefore $ Tetra alkylated alkene is most stable.
