$\cos 2 \theta= \sin \alpha =\cos \left( \frac{\pi}{2} - \alpha \right)$
$\Rightarrow $ $2\theta$ = $2 n \pi \, \pm \left( \frac{\pi}{2} - \alpha \right)$
$\Rightarrow $ $\theta$ = $ n \pi \, \pm \left( \frac{\pi}{2} - \frac{\alpha}{2} \right)$
