Solution:
From the formula $M_f = \frac{M_1V_1 +M_2V_2}{V_1+V_2}$
Given, $V_1 = 750 \,mL , M_1 =0.5 \,M $
$ V_2 =250 \,mL, M_2 = 2 \,M$
$ =\frac{750 \times 0.5+ 250 \times 2}{750+ 250} = \frac{ 875}{1000} = 0.875 \,M $
