The mineral element in chlorophyll and hemoglobin is respectively

Solution:
The chlorophyll molecule is made up of a squarish tetrapyrrolic ring known as head and phytol alcohol called the tail. The magnesium atom is present in the central position of the tetrapyrrolic ring. Besides the formation of chlorophyll molecules, Mg2+ ions do have some other important functions like-
It is present in the middle lamella (in the form of magnesium pectate).
It plays an important role in the metabolism of carbohydrates, lipids, and phosphorus.
It acts as an activator for many enzymes.
It is required for binding the larger and smaller subunits of ribosomes during protein synthesis.
It is readily mobile and when its deficiency occurs, it is apparently transferred from older to younger tissues, where it can be neutralized in growth processes.
Hemoglobin is made up of four polypeptide subunits (two alpha α, and two beta β subunits). Each of the four subunits contains a heme (contains iron or Fe) molecule, where the oxygen itself is bound through a reversible reaction. That means a hemoglobin molecule can transport four oxygen molecules at a time. Iron also does play a very important function in plants like -
It is a structural component of ferredoxin, flavoproteins, iron porphyrin proteins (Cytochromes, peroxidases, catalases, etc.)
It plays an important role in energy conversion reactions of photosynthesis (phosphorylation) and respiration.
It acts as an activator of nitrate reductase and aconitase.
Although iron is not a component of the chlorophyll molecules, it is essential for the synthesis of chlorophyll.
