Solution:

$ R_{\max }=\frac{u^{2}}g=100\,m $
The range of the projectile is maximum for the angle of projection $ \theta =45^{\circ} $ .
When the range is maximum the height attained by a projectile is,
$ H=\frac{u^{2}}4{\,g}=\frac{100}{4}=25\,m $
