Q. The mass of one mole of electron is

Some Basic Concepts of Chemistry

Solution:

$\because$ Mass of one electron = $9.1 \times 10^{-31}$ kg = $9.1 \times 10^{-28}$ g $ \because $ Mass of 1 mole of electrons, i.e., mass of $6.023 \times 10^{23}$
= $9.1 \times 10^{-28} \times 6.023 \times 10^{23}$ electron
$= 5.48 \times 10^{-4}$
= 0.00055 g
= 0.55 mg
