Q. The magnetic force on a point charge is F = q ( v $ \times $ B )
Here, q = electric charge ,v = velocity of point charge and B = magnetic field
The dimension of B is

Physical World, Units and Measurements

Solution:

Magnetic force F = q v $ \times $ B
or $ F = q$ v $b \, sin \, \theta $
$ \therefore [ B ] = \bigg [ \frac{ F }{ qv } \bigg ] = \frac{ [ MLT^{ - 2} ] }{ [ AT ] [ LT^{ - 1} ] } $
= $ [ MT^{ - 2} A^{ - 1} ] $
