Solution:

Gallium (At. no. $31$) is soft, silvery metal placed in IIIA group in periodic table. Its melting point is $30^{\circ} C$. This metal expands by $3.1 \%$ when it solidifies and hence, should not be stored in glass or metal containers. Gallium also corrode other metals.
