Solution:

$\mu=\frac{\text { Apparent height }}{\text { Real height }}$
Now, real height $=24 \,cm$ and $\mu=\frac{4}{3}$
$\frac{4}{3} \times 24=$ Apparent height
$\therefore $ Apparent height $=32\, cm$
