Solution:

Since resistance of remains same in both cases
$x\ell \, = \, x′\ell ′$
$\left(\frac{E}{400}\right)\left(150\right)= \, \left(\frac{E}{400}\right)\left(\ell ^{′}\right)$
or $\ell ^{′}= \, 225 \, cm$
