Q. The hyposecretion of which hormones leads to loss of sodium and water through urine, low blood pressure and hypotension?

Solution:

Aldosterone, a hormone secreted by adrenal cortex increases the reabsorption of sodium ions and water and the release of potassium ions in kidneys. This increases the blood volume and therefore, increases the blood pressure. Its hyposecretion, reverses this effect.
