Solution:

Entry of $ HCl $ in duodenum stimulates secretion of secretin from duodenal mucosa. The hormone stimulates secretion of water and bicarbonates in bile and pancreatic juice. It inhibits stomach movement and secretion of gastric juice. Secretin was the first hormone to be isolated.
