The genes present on the differential region of Ychromosome are called holandric genes. They are passed directly from male parent to male offspring. Gene which has undergone mutation within the particular stock of organisms is called mutant gene. Chromosome which is not a sex chromosome is called autosomal chromosome. Sexlinked genes are genes having special distribution with reference to sex as a result of being carried on the X-chromosome.
