Solution:

As $\lambda_{r } \approx 8000 A^{\circ} $ and $\lambda_{v} \approx 4000 A^{\circ}$ and $ \beta = \frac{\lambda D}{d}$ i.e.
$ \beta \propto \lambda , $ therefore $\beta_{red}$ is roughly double of $ \beta_{violet}$
