Skin/ Integument is the largest organ in the body acting as the protective covering. Skin is made up of multiple layers of connective tissue including areolar tissue, adipose tissue (fat layer ), and dense irregular connective tissue. The outermost layer of skin is made of tightly packed epithelial tissue. Skin is vascularized with vessels and ducts of glands.
