Solution:
(i) Clockwise cycle on $P-V$ diagram
$\Delta W_{cyclic}=+ve=\Delta Q_{cyclic}$

(ii) anticlockwise cycle on $V-P$ diagram
$\Delta W_{cyclic}=+ve=\Delta Q_{cyclic}$
heat is absorbed
(iii) clockwise cycle on $P-V$ diagram
$\Delta W_{cyclic}=+ve=\Delta Q_{cyclic}$
heat is absorbed
(iv) clockwise cycle on $V-P$ diagram
$\Delta W_{cyclic}=-ve=\Delta Q_{cyclic}$
heat is rejected
