Solution:
Fatty acids and glycerol are insoluble. Hence, they are not easily absorbed. The bile juice secreted by the liver plays a vital role in their digestion. The bile acids present in bile juice cause the emulsification of fats, causing them to convert into droplets called micelles. These micelles are then transported to the intestinal mucosa. In the intestinal mucosa, they get a protein coating and convert into protein-coated fat globules known as chylomicrons. These chylomicrons are now transported in the lacteals present in the intestinal villi and are thus absorbed in the blood.
