Solution:

The C4 pathway is an efficient way of carbon dioxide fixation even at low concentrations. These plants are known as C4 plants as the first stable product of the dark reaction is oxaloacetate which is a 4 carbon compound.
Example: Maize, sorghum, sugarcane etc.
