Solution:

Comparing with the standard equation, $y=Asin\left(k x - \omega t\right)$ , we have
$\omega =2\pi rad/s$
Frequency $n=\frac{\omega }{2 \pi }=\frac{2 \pi }{2 \pi }=1s^{- 1}$
$\Rightarrow n=1 \, s^{- 1}$
