Solution:

When current flows through a wire, the electrons present in it, move under the influence of both, the electric field and magnetic field.
Hence, the dominant force experienced by the electron is electromagnetic in nature and given by
$F=F_{e}+F_{m}=q[E+(v \times B)]$
