Introduction to Three Dimensional Geometry

Solution:

We have to take the distance of point $A(2, 3,4)$ from $y$-axis.
So, we have to take the distance of $x$ and $z$ coordinate of the point from origin
$= \sqrt{2^{2}+4^{2}}$
$= \sqrt{20} = 2\sqrt{5}$.
