Artificial kidney is a machine that is used for filtration of blood in the people whose kidneys fail or are damaged. This process is known as Dialysis. This machine contains Dialysing fluid. This fluid is produced by blending of treated water with electrolytes. The composition of the dialysing fluid should be the same as that of plasma except for the nitrogenous waste i.e. urea.
