Solution:

The male gametophyte or pollen grain starts its germination inside microsporangia; thus, it is known as in-situ germination. In 60% angiosperms, pollen grain is liberated at the 2-celled stage and after landing on stigma, it undergoes further division to form 2 male gametes. Thus, germination is partially ex-situ on stigma.
