Solution:

$PV = \frac{m}{M}RT $
where $m$ = mass of gas
$M$ = molecular mass of gas
$P =\frac{m}{V }\times\frac{RT}{M}=d\times\frac{RT}{M} $
So, $d =\frac{PM}{RT}$
$ =\frac{2 \times34}{0.0821\times300} $
$=\frac{68}{24.63}$
$=2.76 g/L$
