Q. The currents $i_{1}$ and $i_{2}$ through the resistors $R_{1}(=10\, \Omega)$ and $R_{2}(=30 \,\Omega)$ in the circuit diagram with $E_{1}=3 \,V , E_{2}=3 \,V$ and $E_{3}=2 \,V$ are respectivelyPhysics Question Image

Solution:

In closed loop $EFGDE$
image$i_{2} R_{2}=E_{2}$
$i_{2} \times 30=3$
$i_{2}=0.1\, A$
In closed loop $A B C E A$
$-i_{1} R_{1}-E_{1}+E_{2}+E_{3}=0$
$-i_{1} \times 10-3+3+2=0$
$i_{1}=0.2 \,A$
