Q. The current in an $LCR$ circuit is given by $I=20 \sin (100\, \pi t+\pi$ /3) A. The voltage across the inductance $L$ of $0.1 \,H$ at $t =0$ will be (in volt)

Alternating Current

Solution:

Given :
$I =20\, \sin (100\, \pi t +\pi / 3)$
$V _{ L }=\omega L\, I _{0}\, \sin (\pi / 3+\pi / 2)$ at $t =0$
$=\omega L\, I _{0} \cos \pi / 3$.
$=100 \pi \times 0.1 \times 20 \times \frac{1}{2}$
$=314$ volt
