Q.
The correct plot of Maxwell-Boltzmann dístribution at different temperatures $(T)$ is speed $=$ number of molecules $=$
TS EAMCET 2018
Solution:
According to Maxwell-Boltzmann distribution law at low temperature molecule have less energy. Therefore, speeds of molecule is decreased at low temperature and distribution has a smaller range. As temperature increases the K.E. of molecule increases the distribution flattens out. Same is visible in graph. Boltzmann taken speed at $x$ -axis.
