Among the given compounds, mercurous chloride is insoluble in water. The following compounds are always soluble in water :
(i) salts of IA group elements and NH+4ions.
(ii) All nitrate, acetate and perchlorate (ClO4) compounds.
(iii) All sulphate compounds (except those of Ca2+,Sr2+,Ba2+ and Pb2+).
(iv) All chloride compounds (except those of Ag+,Pb2+,Cu+and Hg2+2).
