Q. The circum-radius of a right triangle is 10 cm and one of the two perpendicular sides is 12 cm. Find the area of the triangle in sq. cm.

Mensuration

Solution:

(i) Circum-radius is half of the hypotenuse. Use Pythagoras's theorem.
(ii) Circum-radius is $10 cm$, so hypotenuse is $2(10 cm )$.
(iii) Use Pythagoras's theorem and get the length of the other perpendicular side and find the area.
