Q. The certain amount of gas is sealed in a glass flask at $1$ atmosphere pressure and $20^\circ C.$ The flask can with stand up to a pressure of $2$ atmosphere. Find the temperature to which the gas can be heated so that the flask doesn't break.

Solution:

$P \propto T$
$\Rightarrow T_{2}=\frac{P_{2}}{P_{1}}\times T_{1}$
$\Rightarrow T_{2}=\frac{2 P}{P}\times \left(\right.273+20\left.\right)=2\times 293$
$=586K=313^\circ C$
