Solution:

In Ziegler process, ethylene is passed under a pressure of $6$ atmospheres at a temperature of $60-70^{\circ} C$ into a suspension of titanium tetrachloride $\left( TiCl _{4}\right)$ and aluminium triethyl $\left[ Al \left( C _{2} H _{5}\right)_{3}\right]$ in an inert solvent like heptane.
