The energy released on discharging the capacitor fully, is given by $ E=\frac{1}{2}C{{V}^{2}}=\frac{1}{2}\times 4\times {{10}^{-6}}\times {{(100)}^{2}} $ $ =2\times {{10}^{-2}}=0.02\,J $
