NTA AbhyasNTA Abhyas 2022

Solution:

Annually, about 75 x 1012 kg of carbon (in the form of CO2) is fixed through photosynthesis. About 50-80% of it is carried out in the oceans (largely by the phytoplanktons and algae). In the terrestrial region, photosynthesis is maximum in the tropical regions or tropical rain forest region, however, productivity is more in terrestrial region as compared to oceans.
