The electronic configuration of calcium is $1 s ^{2} 2 s ^{2} 2 p ^{6} 3s ^{2} 3p ^{6} 4s ^{2} .$ As such due to empty d-orbital calcium forms strong metallic bond. Hence its boiling point is high.
