Here, $\varepsilon=24\,V$ and $r=0.8\,\Omega$
For the maximum current from the battery.
$\varepsilon=Ir\quad\left(\because R=0\right)$
$\therefore I=\frac{\varepsilon}{r}=\frac{24}{0.8}=30\,A$
