Solution:

Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) contains two types of nitrogenous base
(a) Purines $\rightarrow$ Adenine and guanine
(b) Pyrimidine $\rightarrow$ Thymine and cytosine
RNA also consist of same base pairs except thymine, in place of which uracil is present.
