Q. The arteries differ from veins in having:

Solution:

The pulmonary artery carries dark-red deoxygenated blood from the right ventricle to the lungs whereas Pulmonary vein carries bright-red oxygenated blood from the lungs to the left atrium of the heart. ​Veins consist of three distinct layers, which are thin and collapsible whereas arteries consist of three distinct layers, which are rigid, thicker and highly muscular.
