Q. 30. The activation energy, rate-constant and Arrhenius parameters of a chemical reaction at $25^{\circ} C$ are $104.4\, KJ\, mol ^{-1}, 3.0 \times 10^{-4} s ^{-1}, 6.0 \times$ $10^{14} s ^{-1}$ respectively. The value of rate-constant in $s^{-1}$ at $T \rightarrow \infty$ is (write your answer by dividing by $10^{14}$ )

Solution:

$k = A \cdot e ^{- Ea / RT }$ (Arrhenius equation)
As $T \rightarrow \infty$
$k \rightarrow A$
i.e., $k = A =6 \times 10^{14} sec ^{-1}$
