Q. The absorptive power of perfectly blackbody is:

AFMCAFMC 2003

Solution:

In physics a black body is an object that absorbs all electromagnetic radiations that fall on to it. No radiation passes through it and none is reflected. Despite the name black bodies are not actually black as they radiate energy as well. Hence, black body absorbs $100\%$ of the radiation that hits it. Hence, absorptive power of perfectly black body is one.
