Solution:

Terminator genes are genes which causes failure of seed germination after one generation. Terminator gene technology is based of allowing the expression of certain lethal genes like RIP (Ribosome Inactive Protein). Through cross pollination, the terminator gene will pass on to other varieties and related species growing nearby causing sterility and death.
