Solution:

In a monocot stem, vascular bundles are conjoint, collateral, and closed. These vascular bundles are scattered in ground tissue, and each vascular bundle is surrounded by a bundle sheath. Monocot plants are marked by seeds with a single cotyledon, parallel-veined leaves, scattered vascular bundles in the stem.
