Q. Syngenesious stamens are found in

Solution:

In syngenesious (= synantherous) condition, the stamens are fused by anthers only and the filaments are free. The fused anthers form a ring around the gynoecium. Syngenesious condition of stamens is present in Helianthus (sunflower). Synandrous and monadelphous „ conditions occur respectively in Cucurbita and Hibiscus. In Calotropis, a different structure called gynostegium is present, which is formed by the • fusion of anther with the stigma.
