Q. Suppose a gas obeys $p V^{2}=$ constant in addition to the gas equation $p V=R T$. If on heating temperature is doubled, what will be the percentage change in volume ?

Thermodynamics

Solution:

$p V^{2}=$ constant it implies on using gas law we have $T V=$ constant so if we double the temperature, volume will decrease to $V / 2$
