If the molar ratio of $A_{2}\left(g\right)to \, A\left(\right.g\left.\right)$ is 5 : 3 in a set of product gases , then the energy involved in the decomposition of 1 mole of $A_{2}B\left(\right.g\left.\right)$ is:

$\Delta _{r}H=\frac{5}{8}\times 40+\frac{3}{8}\times 50=43.75 \, k J / \, m o l$
